A custom-engineered Christmas decorative signage program delivered for a heritage mall seasonal installation.

Commissioned by a UK-based design studio, the project required a festive visual layer that enhances the Christmas atmosphere while preserving architectural integrity. LC Sign produced 80 sets of outdoor acrylic neon signage designed to align with historic streetscape proportions and modern minimalist design language.

The system was engineered for aesthetic precision, warm lighting consistency, and reliable outdoor durability, enabling large-scale Christmas deployment across the mall environment.

Process

Phase 1 – Proportion Control & Design Translation

Each decorative unit was engineered to a fixed 815 × 604 mm format, calibrated to maintain proportional harmony within heritage streetscapes.

Irregular geometric outlines were retained from the studio's concept language, ensuring contemporary expression while respecting traditional architectural rhythms. Raised electroplated gold lettering was integrated to match the client's physical samples and preserve material continuity.

Phase 2 – Optical Calibration for Christmas Lighting

To achieve a "timeless" Christmas glow, LC Sign deployed 2700K warm-white waterproof LED modules. This color temperature was selected to emulate incandescent warmth, producing a soft halo effect suitable for historic environments. Optical diffusion engineering eliminated hotspots and flicker, ensuring consistent light quality across all installations.

Phase 3 – Outdoor Engineering & System Reliability

The signage structure combined matte white acrylic faces with aluminum backing for lightweight durability and environmental stability.
